June!! 12th 2011. The Big Walk from Longford to Lourdes.
A group of people will leave Longford town on foot and begin an 850 mile walk all the way to the beautiful foyer of the well-known Hotel Solitude in Lourdes, in the south of France. This Charity walk is in aid of the Irish Pilgrimage Trust (www.irishpilgrimagetrust.com), which has been providing assistance and respite care to young adults and children with special needs for a long number of years.
