Hommage à Jean Rodhain
Un bel hommage à Jean Rodhain sous un manteau de neige.
La journée en hommage au fondateur de la Cité Saint Pierre, décédé le 1er février 1977, s’est déroulée en présence d’une centaine de participants et sous un manteau de neige. La messe à la salle Jérémie a été animée par la chorale de la Cité Saint Pierre. Un petit groupe a déposé des roses rouges sur la tombe de Mgr Rodhain. Quelques personnes qui l’ont connu ont apporté leur témoignage. Sœur Marie Sabine a lu un texte sur le thème des 60 ans de la Cité, à découvrir sur You Tube. Après l’apéritif et le repas au self, les participants ont pu découvrir le Castel, et regarder le film sur l’histoire de Jean Rodhain et du Secours catholique.

A beautiful « Rodhain day » under a snow coat.
The “Rodhain day” in memory of the fondator of the Cité Saint Pierre took place under a snow coat with almost 100 people. The mass at the “salle Jérémie” was performed by the singers of the Cité Saint Pierre. A little group put red roses upon the grave of Mgr Rodhain. Some people who knew him gave their testimony. Sister Marie Sabine has read a text about the sixtieth birthday of the Cité. You can see it on our You Tube Channel. After the drink and the lunch, people could visit the Castel and watch a movie about the story of Jean Rodhain and Caritas France.
