Cérémonie d’ouverture à Lourdes du 56ème Pèlerinage Militaire International : 16 mai 2014
Vendredi 16 mai 2014, basilique Saint-Pie X du Sanctuaire de Lourdes, cérémonie d’ouverture du 56ème pèlerinage militaire international, en présence notamment d’une délégation venue d’Ukraine. La cérémonie s’est déroulée de 21h à 22h15.

2,500 Italian soldiers make pilgrimage to Lourdes
Italians join others from 35 countries in annual rite
The 56th International Military Pilgrimage to Lourdes began on Friday with 2,500 Italian soldiers joining others from 35 countries, all gathering at the location known for miraculous healing in the Roman Catholic faith. The Italians will reach the southwestern French city on 10 airplanes and more than a dozen autobuses. Roughly 60 Italian military chaplains will also be present. The theme of the 2014 military pilgrimage is “servants of Christ, servants of peace”.
